According to the Zhitong Finance App, Haotian International Construction Investment (01341) released interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2023, with revenue of HK$86 million, a year-on-year decrease of 30.08%; corporate equity holders accounted for losses of HK$85 million, compared to HK$91 million in profit for the same period last year; loss of 1.12 HK cents per share.
According to reports, during this period, sales of construction machinery and spare parts and rental income generated by construction machinery were approximately HK$11 million (2022: approximately HK$25 million) and HK$68 million (2022: approximately HK$83 million), respectively. The main reason for the decrease in sales of construction machinery and spare parts was the decrease in the sale of used construction machinery during the period. Last year, the company sold a large number of used cranes to replace the company's leased fleet. The main reason for the decline in rental income is that some major construction projects have been completed in 2023. The occupancy rate of leased machinery is about 85%.
