According to the Zhitong Finance App, Profitability Maritime (02682) announced the results for the six months ended September 30, 2023. The group's revenue was HK$157 million, up 19.09% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders was HK$2,3064 million, up 27.54% year on year; and profit per share was HK$2.31 cents.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to (i) a decrease in revenue from the provision of ship leasing and related services (such as procurement services) to short-term marine service projects; and (ii) the net impact of the increase in revenue from marine construction services contributed by Yun Lee Timm Group after the acquisition.
