SBI Security Solutions Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Vázquez Kao Fernando Lewis, hereafter “SbiSecSol”) and JIG-SAW Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Yamakawa Masataka, hereafter “JIG-SAW”) have now agreed to proceed with discussions for establishment, and data control (monitoring/operation/control) services in the financial industry, and medium to long term We are pleased to announce that we have signed a final agreement to establish a joint venture company that globally develops AI and IoT services for various other industries, mainly in the financial industry, to be established in January 2024.
As announced in the press release (*) relating to the basic agreement dated 2023/9/7, there has recently been a higher demand for the realization of stable operation in cyberspace and secure development to support that operation. In particular, this trend is more evident in the area relating to finance. In order to respond to such high demand, in the future, we will establish a joint venture by utilizing SBISecsol's extensive knowledge and global network from traditional finance to advanced finance, and JIG-SAW's excellent monitoring/operation/control technology and IoT technology, and carry out joint ventures with an eye on the global market.

The joint venture company name is “SBI JIG-SAW Modernizations.” “Modernization (modernization)” is originally an English word with the meaning of “modernization” or “modernization,” and recently it is also used in the tech industry to indicate replacing outdated IT assets (hardware and software) with the latest products and designs.
There are methods for modernization, such as “replace,” “rewrite,” “rehost,” and “rebuild,” and this time, we have adopted them for the head office name in order to “replace old system concepts and methods,” making use of the strengths of both companies.
