According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zhenxiong Group (00057) announced its results for the six months ended September 30, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$1,002 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 24.16%; profit attributable to corporate equity holders was HK$50.51 million, a year-on-year decrease of 32.76%; basic profit per share was HK$8 cents, and a medium-term dividend of HK$0.03 per common share was paid.
The announcement said that looking ahead to the second half of this fiscal year, based on the uncertainty of global economic trends, high interest rates and currency depreciation in many countries, continued international geopolitical tension, and political struggles between China and the US, will continue to affect world consumer confidence and the local economy of China. China's export situation in the second half of the year was not optimistic, and some of the Group's main customer groups were export processors, so it can be expected that the Group's business in the second half of the year will still be hampered by the overall environment.
