On November 20, Gelonghui (01632.HK) announced that for the six months ending September 30, 2023, the Group is expected to record net profit of about HK$15 million attributable to the company's shareholders during this period, while in the six months ending September 30, 2022, it is expected that the Group will record a net loss of about HK$3 million attributable to the company's shareholders in the six months ending September 30, 2022.
The Board believes that the above expectations changed from net loss to net profit mainly due to the completion of the sale of subsidiaries on April 27, 2023, with a profit of about HK$25.8 million.
