Gelonghui November 17丨Jiayi Holdings (01025.HK) announced that the company expects to record a loss of about HK$14.6 million in the six months ending September 30, 2023, while a loss of about HK$18.1 million was recorded in the same period last year.
The reduction in anticipated losses is mainly due to the net impact of the following: (i) the implementation of cost control measures in 2023, which reduced administrative expenses and sales and distribution expenses during the group period compared to the same period in 2022; (ii) a decrease in impairment losses confirmed for property, plant and equipment; (iii) a decrease in gross profit; and (iv) an increase in losses attributable to associated companies.
