According to estimates, in October 2023, China's express delivery development index was 383.5, up 7.1% year on year. Among them, the development scale index, service quality index, development capacity index, and development trend index were 445.2, 582.2, 228.2, and 68, respectively, up 14.4%, 1.7%, 9.1% and 2.4% from the previous year. In October, the industry maintained relatively rapid growth, the market size continued to expand, the time limit level increased steadily, and the capacity guarantee was strengthened, laying a good foundation for welcoming the industry's peak season and providing strong support for the resumption of economic growth.

In October, the express delivery development scale index was 445.2, up 14.4% year on year. Judging from the sub-indicators, it is expected that in October, the year-on-year growth rate of the express delivery business volume will all exceed 20%. In early October, the scale of the industry expanded steadily, and the single-day business volume increased day by day. Demand for delivery services for seasonal products such as beef, lamb, seafood, and fruit increased in the mid to late season. Combined with the “Double 11" promotion, the industry continued to operate at a high level, with an average daily business volume of around 400 million pieces. As of October 23, the total annual express delivery business volume has exceeded 100 billion units, and the business volume has exceeded 11 billion units for 3 consecutive months. Looking at the sub-indicators, public satisfaction with express delivery services is expected to be 83.1 points, an increase of 0.7 points over the previous year.
