Eastern Stock Futures said that as of November 3, the mainstream price of 2.0mm coating (panels) for photovoltaic glass in China was 19.5 yuan/square meter, down 8% from last week; the mainstream price of 3.2mm coating was 27 yuan/square meter, down 2% from last week; PV glass manufacturers' inventories continued to accumulate last week. Demand for photovoltaic glass continued to weaken due to declining module manufacturers' operating rates, while the supply of photovoltaic glass continued to be at a high level. Recently, photovoltaic glass manufacturers have continued to face pressure from accumulation.
The bank pointed out that at this stage, the supply of photovoltaic glass continues to be at a high level and there is still room for growth, yet there is insufficient follow-up on the demand side. In order to control inventory, most photovoltaic glass manufacturers have recently lowered their prices to increase shipments, and there is still room for short-term photovoltaic glass prices to decline.
