According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dafeng Port (08310) released results for the nine months ended September 30, 2023, with revenue of HK$657 million, up 113.5% year on year; loss attributable to corporate equity holders of HK$45.02 million, a year-on-year decrease of 22.5%; basic loss per share of HK$3.49 cents.
Under the combined influence of revenue and revenue costs, the Group achieved a gross margin of approximately 0.09% during the period (same period in 2022: about 0.6%). The reason for the decline in gross margin was a decrease of about 66.61% in gross profit during the period. The global economic environment during the period was complicated. In order to prevent customer groups from breaching contracts, the company terminated products and services with high operational risk, and the gross profit of the Group's trade business decreased.
