According to the Zhitong Finance App, Oriental Payment Group Holdings (08613) announced its results for the six months ended September 30, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$1.037 million, an increase of 199.6% over the previous year; loss attributable to corporate equity holders was HK$1,8074 million, a decrease of 9.16% over the previous year; and a loss of 0.97 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the decrease in net loss was mainly due to an increase in earnings and gross profit, other income, sales and distribution costs, and general administrative expenses during the reporting period, as well as the net impact of reduced financing costs and losses on unrevised convertible bonds.
