According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yongsheng Medical (01612) announced that on November 9, 2023, Guangdong Yongsheng, an indirect subsidiary of the company, signed a construction contract with the contractor Guangdong Jianbang Industrial Group Co., Ltd. with the contractor Guangdong Jianbang Industrial Group Co., Ltd., regarding the construction of new production facilities on this land at a cost of RMB 153 million. The costs have been determined through a tendering process, according to which five tenders have been issued and four tenders have been received for the construction of new production facilities on the site.
According to reports, the land is plot C located on the north side of Tianhu 2nd Road, Cuishanhu New District, Kaiping City, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China. The new production facility is a comprehensive production facility equipped with automated production lines to be built on this site, with a total construction area of about 87,000 square meters.
The announcement said that the expanded capacity brought about by the construction of new production facilities will also open up the possibility of new contract development and manufacturing services, enabling the Group to more effectively seize market opportunities.
