According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jiaming Group Holdings (01271) announced its results for the six months ended September 30, 2023. The group achieved profit of HK$192 million, a year-on-year decrease of 96.1%; profit for the period was HK$110 million, a year-on-year decrease of 92.12%; profit per share of HK$7.8 cents, and plans to pay an interim dividend of 4 HK cents per share.
During the period, the consolidated gross profit also decreased by 95.2% to 97.4 million yuan (first half of 2022/23: $2,0367 million). Mainly, the number of properties sold from property development projects declined sharply during the review period.
Excluding changes in the fair value of investment properties, the Group achieved a basic profit of 1.3 million yuan in the first half of 2023/24 (first half of 2022/23: $1,414.3 billion), a decrease of 99.9% from the first half of 2022/23.
