According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yabo Technology Holdings (08279) announced results for the first three quarters of 2023, with revenue of approximately HK$448 million, an increase of about 80.8% over the same period in 2022. Profit attributable to company owners was HK$28.191,000, compared with losses attributable to the same period last year of approximately HK$120 million; basic profit per share of HK$0.247 cents.
The announcement stated that the conversion from loss to profit was mainly due to a decrease in operating losses. In addition, net financing income increased by approximately HK$30 million to approximately HK$47.8 million, and confirmed fair value income from convertible term loans of approximately HK$1.9 million over a nine-month period (nine months ended September 30, 2022: loss of approximately HK$29.6 million).
