Zhitong Financial App News, South China Financial (00619) announced that the company, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, sold a total of 1.1 million China Eastern H shares (accounting for about 0.021% of the total issued H shares of China Eastern Airlines and about 0.005% of the total issued shares of China Eastern Airlines) on October 30, 2023, with a total consideration of about HK $2.94 million (excluding transaction fees). The average price of each of the sold shares of China Eastern Airlines is about HK $2.67.
The announcement said that the sale of China Eastern Airlines will increase the liquidity of the group. The Group intends to use the proceeds from the sale of China Eastern Airlines as general working capital.
