Gelonghui October 30?The Economic Daily Group (00423.HK) announced that it is expected to record a loss attributable to shareholders of about HK $20 million for the six months ended September 30, 2023, compared with a profit of HK $35.1 million for the same period last year (including HK $33.3 million for the Employment Protection Scheme granted by the Hong Kong Government). The expected loss is mainly due to a decline in revenue due to a weak local advertising market and a sluggish economic environment and market sentiment.
