On October 27, the Bank of Shanghai's three-quarter report was released.
The quarterly report shows that in the first three quarters of 2023, the Bank of Shanghai achieved operating income of 39.273 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.76%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 17.345 billion yuan, an increase of 1.03% over the previous year.
At the end of September 2023, the Bank of Shanghai had total assets of 3059.114 billion yuan, up 6.27% from the end of the previous year; the non-performing loan ratio was 1.21%, down 0.04 percentage points from the end of the previous year; and the provision coverage rate was 290.02%, maintaining a high level.
During the year, Shanghai continued to develop service features for the elderly, enrich promotion and education activities for the elderly, create exclusive savings products to meet the needs of elderly customers to add value and preserve capital, and continuously expand the content of pension wealth management.
As of the end of September 2023, the bank's pension customers reached 1.587 million, maintaining the highest share of pension customers in Shanghai; managed pension customer comprehensive assets (AUM) of 451,796 billion yuan, accounting for 47.41% of retail customer AUM, an increase of 0.45 percentage points over the end of the previous year.
