Zhitong Financial APP News, Chuangsheng Holdings (02680) released results for the six months ended August 31, 2023, with total income of HK $12.005 million, down 33.5% from the same period last year; net profit of HK $9.347 million, compared with a loss of HK $9.339 million in the same period last year; and basic profit per share of HK2.34 cents.
During the period, the decrease in group total income was mainly due to a decrease of about 75.5%, about 7.2% and 45.8% respectively from the group's corporate financing business, asset management business and securities financing business compared with the same period last year, although income from the group's securities trading and brokerage business, placing and underwriting business and money lending business increased by about 126.5%, about 194.2% and 621.4% respectively over the same period last year.
