Zhitong Financial APP News, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (01399) issued an announcement The US dollar bills issued by the Hong Kong Branch and the Singapore Branch issued by the Singapore Branch under the US $20 billion Global medium term Notes Program, RMB notes issued by Dubai Branch and Euro Notes issued by Luxembourg Branch have applied to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing for listing and trading of debt securities only to professional investors (as defined in Chapter 37 of the rules governing the listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited). It is expected that the approval for the listing and trading of each series of bills in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing will take effect on October 26th, 2023.
In addition, each series of notes is intended to be listed on the Singapore Exchange; approved to be included in the official listing list of securities of the Dubai Financial Services Authority and traded on the NASDAQ Dubai Exchange; and approved to be included in the official listing list of the Luxembourg Exchange and traded in the professional sector of the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Exchange. Each series of notes will also be displayed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange of the Luxembourg Exchange. The listing and approved trading of the instruments on other exchanges, if applicable, are expected to take effect on or after October 26, 2023.
