Jiayao Holdings (01626) announced that each lot of trading units of the Company's ordinary shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited will be changed from 4000 shares to 1000 shares, effective from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14,2023.
The announcement said that reducing the number of units per lot would lower the threshold for investors to buy shares, thereby facilitating trading and liquidity of shares, which in turn would allow the company to attract more investors and expand its shareholder base.
Based on the closing price of HK$4.88 per Share as quoted on the Stock Exchange as at the date of this announcement, the market value of each Board Lot of Shares before the Board Lot Change was HK$19520 and after the Board Lot Change would be HK$4880.
