STOCKHOLM--Nordic Paper Holding AB, a producer of specialty paper, late on Monday set the price range of its upcoming initial public offering at between 40 and 52 Swedish kronor ($4.55-$5.91) a share.

The offer price implies a company market capitalization of around SEK2.68 billion-SEK3.48 billion.

The offering comprises of up to 34.1 million existing shares in Nordic Paper, which are being offered by the principal owner, Chinese paper-products manufacturer Shanying International Holding Co., Ltd.

The principal owner has reserved the right to increase the offering with up to a further 10 million existing shares, and will grant an overallotment option on a further 6.6 million existing shares.

If the offering is increased in full and the overallotment option is exercised in full, the offering will comprise of up to 50.8 million existing shares, corresponding to 76% of the total number of shares in the company.

The application period is expected to run between Oct. 13 to Oct. 20 for the general public in Sweden and between Oct. 13 and Oct. 21 for institutional investors.

The first day of trading on Nasdaq Stockholm is expected to be Oct. 22.
