On the news side, on October 12, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Longheng Investment Co., Ltd. plans to acquire the entire equity of Jinmei Development Co., Ltd. from Yongcheng Venture Capital, which is mainly engaged in the R & D and sales of functional food for the prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The price is HK $146 million. The directors are of the view that the acquisition provides an excellent opportunity for the Group to invest in the target group and will enable the Group to broaden its source of income.
