Demand for long-distance travel by taxi to major transportation hubs such as airports and train stations peaked on September 28, an increase of 197% compared to the same period of the previous week. On the 28th, about 600,000 people downloaded and activated the Didi Chuxing App, and the number of calls per minute exceeded 180,000.

On September 28, Didi intercity ridesharing orders increased 213% compared to the same period of the previous week, and orders for train tickets purchased through the Didi Chuxing app increased 190% compared to before the holiday season. During the holiday season, online car-hailing orders for users while traveling from other places increased 117% compared to the same period last year.

During the holiday season, taxi calls from leisure, entertainment and major hubs increased by 82% and 125%, respectively, compared to before the holiday season. Calling a taxi online has become a holiday travel choice for more and more young people. Taxi calls for young people on the Mid-Autumn Festival this year increased by 62% compared to the same period last year.

There was a significant increase in ride-hailing orders during the long holidays, with the average number of orders completed per day increasing by more than 200% compared to last year. In the cross-city order scenario, the user's high-frequency travel mileage range is 100-200 kilometers. Cities such as Qingdao, Hefei, and Shijiazhuang are popular departure cities for ride-hailing, while cities such as Changsha, Shaoxing, and Nanchang are high-frequency ride-hailing destination cities.

In addition to calling a car to travel, demand for self-driving travel was released during the holidays. According to Didi Chuxing data, the number of vacation orders for Didi Rent-a-Car has broken through a new peak. Rental car users are showing a further youthful trend, with post-90s and post-00s users accounting for close to 60%.

Among the “car owners”, on September 28, Didi fuel orders increased 40% compared to the same period of the previous week. During the holiday season, Xiaoju's charging orders increased by 54.3% compared to the same period last year. In the week before the holiday, car maintenance and repair orders rose 20% from week to week, up 140% from last year.

On the last working day before the 11th holiday, the number of cyclists in green oranges reached its peak this year. Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Dongguan became the top 5 cities for the average cycling time during the Qingju cycling holiday, while Nanning, Nanchang, Kunming, Shantou, and Shenyang became the top 5 cities for the number of cyclists during the Qingju e-bike holiday.

Also, during the holiday season, Didi Cargo orders rose 49% compared to the same period last year. October 6 was the day with the highest number of orders for the Didi Express holiday.
