Hengdu Group (00725) announced that PricewaterhouseCoopers (PricewaterhouseCoopers) has resigned as auditor of the company with effect from October 4, 2023 because PricewaterhouseCoopers failed to reach a consensus with the company on the proposed remuneration of auditors for the year ended December 31, 2023 and received notice from the board of directors of its intention to appoint other auditors.
In addition, the company has decided to appoint CRIC (Hong Kong) Accountants Limited (CRIC) as the new auditor with effect from October 4, 2023 to fill the casual vacancy arising from the resignation of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the term of office will last until the end of the next annual general meeting of the company.
