Zhitong Financial APP News, Qiang Jianye (00519) announced its results for the year ended June 30, 2023, with a profit of HK $93.673 million, an increase of 741.6% over the same period last year; a loss of HK $43.449 million attributable to the owners of the company, a year-on-year reduction of 73.3%; and a basic loss of HK1.73 cents per share.
Most of the revenue generated in the 2023 financial year comes from resorts and property development divisions. The properties of Wuxi Shengye have been delivered to customers and brought profits. The income generated by the Resort and property Development Division for the 2023 financial year was HK $88.186 million (2022: HK $4.705 million), with a gross profit margin of approximately 20% (2022: about 17%). The increase in revenue is due to the bulk delivery of the property to customers in the financial year 2023 and no bulk delivery has been arranged in the financial year 2022.
