As of press release, Longyuan Electric Power (00916) rose 4.82% to HK$6.74; China High Speed Transmission (00658) rose 1.9% to HK$2.14; Datang New Energy (01798) rose 1.1% to HK$1.84; and Goldwind Technology (02208) rose 0.78% to HK$3.9.
Guolian Securities pointed out that there have been frequent incidents related to offshore wind power at home and abroad recently: 1) the Longyuan Sheyang 1GW offshore wind project has been approved for commencement, 2) changes in the Guangdong offshore wind power project, and 3) construction of several domestic offshore wind power projects is progressing. The bank believes that the wind power sector was previously at a relatively low level of fundamentals. With the gradual lifting of restrictions such as approval, the sea wind in Jiangsu and Guangdong is progressing steadily. Domestic offshore wind power deliveries are expected to increase in October, and industry sentiment is at the stage of reversing and rising.
CITIC Securities said that with the gradual lifting of approval and other related restrictions, the progress of offshore wind power projects in Jiangsu is expected to accelerate, thereby driving demand growth in the offshore wind power industry chain. The bank expects offshore wind power to gradually experience a marginal recovery in prosperity in the second half of this year, and is optimistic about the industry's recovery opportunities.
