Zhitong Financial APP, Southwest Securities (600369.SH) announced that Western Securities International Securities Co., Ltd. ("Western Securities", the holding subsidiary of Western Securities International Investment Co., Ltd., the stock code 0812.HK) recently received a letter from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("SEHK"). The Stock Exchange made a decision. As Western Securities has failed to maintain a sufficient level of operation and valuable assets as required by Rule 13.24 of the rules governing the listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange to guarantee the continued listing of its shares, unless Western Securities applies for a review of the decision of the Stock Exchange, otherwise, trading in Western Securities shares will be suspended on 27 September 2023.
In accordance with the rules governing the listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange, Western Securities has the right to submit the decision to the listing Committee of the Stock Exchange for review and to the Secretary of the listing Committee of the Stock Exchange within seven business days (i.e. before 27 September 2023). Western Securities is in discussions with its legal and financial advisers and will actively consider submitting a request for review and refer the decision to the listing Committee of the Stock Exchange for review.
At present, the company's operation is normal and its financial situation is sound. As of June 30, 2023, the company's total assets were 86.011 billion yuan (unaudited, denominated in RMB, the same below). The total assets of Western Securities International Securities were 666 million yuan, accounting for about 0.77%. The net assets of the company were 25.287 billion yuan, and the net assets of Western Securities International Securities were-25 million yuan. In the first half of 2023, the company achieved operating income of 1.472 billion yuan, Western Securities International Securities achieved operating income of 14 million yuan, accounting for about 0.95%; the company achieved a net profit of 462 million yuan, Western Securities International Securities realized a net profit of-5 million yuan. Western Securities International Securities business scale is relatively small, accounting for a relatively small proportion of the company as a whole, the above matters will not have a significant impact on the company's daily business activities.
