Sina Technology News On the evening of September 12, at today's Skyworth Auto 2023 Fall Technology Ecology Conference, Skylight Auto unveiled its self-developed SkyLIGHTNING optical storage overcharging solution, which consists of six parts: supercharged vehicles, photovoltaics, energy storage, supercharging stations, data service platforms, and mobile overcharging stations. Skyworth Auto says it is starting a new era of energy supplementation where charging is faster than refueling.
At the conference, Skyworth Auto updated its 800V high-voltage technology and released a global high-voltage overcharge model solution. Under normal circumstances, it can charge 30%-80% in 8 minutes and drive 800 miles.
Skyworth Auto, together with Skyworth Photovoltaics and Skyworth Energy Storage, built a Lingguang supercharging station based on the “integrated optical storage, charging and transportation” capability to meet the rapid recharging needs of a large area within 10 minutes. In addition, Skyworth Auto also pioneered a mobile charging station that exceeds 100 watts in the industry. Its overcharged model supports 100KW DC discharge and can recharge 10 kilowatts of electricity in 6 minutes, making it more suitable for intensive use in scenarios such as emergency rescue and outdoor energy supply.
Furthermore, based on the integrated digital services of the Lingguang system, Skyworth Automobile can achieve remote adjustable visual control of photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging energy management, vehicle pile billing, floor lock control, energy planning and two-way settlement, power grid balance, and tariff adjustment, reflecting the “transportation”, or operation capacity, in the integration of optical storage, charging and transportation.
Referring to the implementation plan, Wu Longba, president and co-founder of Skyworth Auto, said, “Skyworth Lingguang will steadily advance according to the 'three-steps' plan. In 2023, it will complete the layout of 400 stations in four cities; in 2024, it will complete the layout of 1,000 stations in 10 cities and cover 5 overseas markets; in 2033, it will become a key force leading revolutionary changes in the global energy system.”
It is reported that in the near future, Skyworth's fast-charging models and supercharged models will be launched simultaneously at home and abroad. “Since its official launch in June, Skyworth EV6 II's product capabilities have been continuously certified by the market. Sales volume in August has more than doubled compared to April.” When announcing the price of the new car, Jia Fan, executive vice president and co-founder of Skyworth Auto, said, “In order to strengthen our product capabilities and adhere to the principle of 'technical empowerment, no price increase, 'Skyworth EV6 II 400V quick-charge AIR+ version sells for 156,800 yuan, and the 800V super-charged PLUS+ version sells for 182,800 yuan.”
After announcing prices, Skyworth Auto also signed a light storage and charging ecosystem strategy with partners such as Didi Zhitong (Guangdong) Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Nanyue Fund Group Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Zhongyue Carbon Energy Management Co., Ltd. to build a diversified cooperative ecosystem.
