Gelonghui, September 4?Tanjin Mining (00621.HK) announces that it, through its non-wholly-owned subsidiary TGL and TGS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TGL, is the owner of the flagship project of Evander 6, South Africa, and that TGS is the regional mining right holder of the project registered under South Africa Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Regulation No. 28 of 2022.
On September 1, 2023, the group learned from security personnel that a group of intruders had broken into and entered the project. The syndicate has reported the case to the Police and has launched a follow-up investigation.
The Group is in close contact with the South African Police Department and the South African Department of Mineral Resources on the incident.
As the project does not have any field exploration ╱ mining activities and has not yet been put into operation, based on the information currently available, the Directors do not consider that the above events will have any material adverse impact on the Group's business operations.
