Zhitong Financial APP News, Longcheng Financial (01225) released interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023, the group achieved an income of HK $79.802 million, down 4.1% from the same period last year; the loss attributable to the owners of the company was HK $20.338 million, down 79.81% from the same period last year; loss per share was HK8.83 cents.
According to the announcement, the decrease in consolidated income was mainly due to a decrease in sales of medical products, of which the decrease was about HK $7.4 million. The decrease in loss was mainly due to a decrease of approximately HK $82.3 million in other income and losses, which was mainly due to the recognition of a loss of HK $38.9 million in respect of changes in the fair value of financial assets treated at fair value through profit and loss and an impairment loss of HK $52.6 million on trade and other receivables and an impairment loss of HK $52.6 million on trade and other receivables compared with the same period in 2022.
