Zhitong Financial App News, Caixun Media (00205) announced that the company's earnings fell 32% year-on-year to HK $21.828 million in the first half of 2023, while the loss attributable to shareholders decreased by about 85.1% to HK $4.8 million, or HK $0.01 per share.
According to the announcement, the decrease in loss was mainly due to the fair value loss of the investment held for trading and the decrease in the loss attributable to an associate, attributable to the loss of a joint venture and attributable to the loss of an associate and the reversal of the impairment of equity in an associate, while other gains were partly offset by increases in administrative expenses and sales and distribution costs.
