Zhitong Financial App News, Changyou Alliance (01039) released its results for the six months ended June 30, 2023, with an income of 145 million yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 37.4% over the same period last year; a loss attributable to shareholders of 17.563 million yuan, an increase of 14.1% over the same period last year; and a basic loss of 0.97% per share.
Since 2021, the company has changed its business strategy to provide products to customers with higher profit margins, leading to a gross profit margin of about 17.8% (first half of 2022: about 14.6%). During the period, the Group rapidly increased the operating income of its existing business and accelerated the expansion of new businesses closely related to existing platform resources, users and supply chain resources.
