Zhitong Financial APP News, Kangda Environmental Protection (06136) released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The group earned 1.093 billion yuan (the same unit below), down 34.21% from the same period last year; the profit attributable to the owners of the parent company was 81.801 million yuan, down 59.51% from the same period last year; and earnings per share were 3.82%.
In the current period, as the revenue from construction services decreased by 514 million yuan (about 83.7%) to 100 million yuan compared with the same period last year, the total revenue decreased by about 34.2% 1,093 million yuan compared with the same period last year.
The actual sewage treatment capacity in this period reached 608 million tons, a slight increase compared with the same period last year, and the utilization rate of sewage treatment plants remained at a relatively high level of 82 per cent. The net inflow of operating cash flow in the current period was 10 million yuan, which continued to be positive. In terms of financing activities, the average borrowing rate for the current period was 6.06%, an increase of 0.25% over the same period last year, while long-term borrowing accounted for 68.7% of total borrowing.
