Zhitong Financial App News, International Resources (01051) announced results for the first half of 2023, the company's earnings increased 53% year-on-year to $16.24 million, shareholders' share of losses fell 92% to $5.344 million, a loss of 1.19 cents per share.
The significant decrease of $59.3 million in after-tax loss compared with the same period last year was mainly due to a significant decrease in the fair value loss of financial assets and permanent note investments held by the Group at fair value and its changes included in profit or loss, recognized at $32.5 million, a fair value loss of $70.7 million compared with the same period last year; and an increase of $18.7 million in income from fixed income investments.
