According to the Zhitong Financial App, Tianyuan Healthcare (00557) announced the results for the six months ended June 30, 2023, with a turnover of HK$237.68 million, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%; loss attributable to shareholders of HK$6.57 million, a year-on-year narrower of 64.6%; and a basic loss of HK$1.64 per share.
The decrease in losses during the period was mainly due to net realised and unrealized valuation losses of approximately HK$3 million in the same period last year, and net valuation gain of HK$3.5 million converted to realised and unrealized valuation gains of traded securities during the period. Meanwhile, an increase of HK$2 million in interest income from third party loans further reduced losses compared to the same period last year.
