Dongsheng Smart City Service (00265.HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2023, the company recorded revenue of about HK $169.7 million, an increase of about 68% over the same period in 2022, mainly driven by the full-period performance of the Group's acquisition of four new environmental sanitation projects from June 2022 to December 2022, contributing about HK $80.1 million to the Group during the period.
The profit attributable to equity owners in the continuing business is approximately HK $18.2 million (same period last year: approximately HK $2.3 million (restated)). The improvement is attributable to a gain of approximately HK $9.2 million from the sale of a 51% stake in the Golden Travel era during the period and an improvement of approximately HK $12.1 million in the segment performance of the environmental hygiene business compared with the same period in 2022.
