Zhitong Financial App News, China Management Industry (00380) released interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The group earned HK $341 million in revenue during the period, up 5.98% from the same period last year. The profit attributable to shareholders was HK $31.646 million, down 1.3% from the same period last year. Basic profit per share is HK2.38 cents.
The steady growth in earnings is due to the fact that the group has seized the opportunity brought about by the Hong Kong government's continued investment in housing, the announcement said. During the period under review, labour shortage and rising prices posed challenges to the Group. This weakens the Group's gross margin and its net profit is slightly lower than that of the same period last year.
