MasterCard International (00898) announced interim results for 2023 with revenue of about HK $136 million, an increase of 1.26% over the same period last year; profit attributable to shareholders of the company was about HK $114 million, up 29.59% over the same period last year; earnings per share were HK13.68 cents, with an interim dividend of HK2 cents per share.
The announcement said that the increase in profit was mainly due to the increase in unrealised fair value income of equity investment and dividend income.
