According to Zhitong Financial App, Tiande Chemical (00609) announced its results for the first half of 2023. The company achieved a turnover of 1.153 billion yuan (RMB, same below), a year-on-year decrease of 37.8%; profit attributable to shareholders fell 67% year on year to 166 million yuan; basic profit per share was about RMB 0.191 million, and declared an interim dividend of HK$0.03 per share.
The announcement said that during the review period, due to changes in the macroeconomic environment; and downstream customers not yet digesting the backlog of inventories during the COVID-19 pandemic in the previous fiscal year, market conditions deteriorated, and sales prices of all of the Group's core products fell sharply.
