According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dayu Financial (01073) announced its 2023 interim results, with a net profit of HK$4,203 million, a year-on-year decrease of 80.74%; profit per share was HK0.37 cents.
The announcement stated that the main reason for the decline in net profit was the decrease in corporate finance advisory income and the lack of significant expenses in the loan business during the medium term. Despite investment losses, amortization of intangible assets, and tax impact due to the above reasons, there were also favorable decreases.
