Zhitong Financial APP News, Sing Tao (01105) announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2023, with income of HK $388 million, up 5.8% from the same period last year; net loss of HK $42.675 million, down 61% from the same period last year; and basic loss per share of HK4.85 cents.
With the continuous acceleration of the transformation of the new media business, the loss narrowed significantly during the period, mainly due to increased business revenue and effective cost control. In addition, the overseas business segment received an epidemic subsidy of about HK $19.3 million from the United States Government during the reporting period.
