Gelonghui August 24?Datong Machinery (00118.HK) announced that in the six months ended June 30, 2023, the group's revenue was about HK $1.134 billion, down 7.4% from the same period last year, mainly due to stagnant demand from manufacturing in China and the world, weak industrial exports and sluggish growth in consumer spending. Sales in most of the group's business sectors fell. During the period, the profit attributable to equity holders of the company was HK $3.569 million, down 59% from a year earlier, and basic and diluted earnings per share were HK0.41 cents.
