Gelonghui August 23 丨Daphne International (00210.HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2023, revenue increased 134% to HK$123 million; profit attributable to shareholders increased 81% to HK$34,539 million, and basic profit per share was HK$1.9 million.
The announcement stated that in the face of the challenges of weak economic recovery, the Group's business transformation over the past few years has gradually borne fruit, and achieved satisfactory operating performance in the first half of 2023. With the “Daphne” brand's good reputation over a long period of time, trendy, affordable and high-quality products, the rapid development of the online licensing business, and the joint efforts of the management team and all employees, the Group regained its upward trend faster than the general market environment in the face of a slow recovery in consumption. In the first half of 2023, the Group's total revenue increased 134% year-on-year to HK$123 million, and operating profit increased 71% to approximately HK$38.2 million. As the economy gradually recovers, the Group expects steady and sustainable development of its business.
