Zhitong Financial App News, Dongguang Chemical (01702) announced interim results for 2023, with revenue of about 1.62 billion yuan (the same as below), down 5.8% from the same period last year; profit attributable to company owners was 70.775 million yuan, down 52.15% from the same period last year; and earnings per share were 11.4%.
The decrease in income was mainly due to a drop in the average selling price of urea, the announcement said. During the reporting period, the average selling price of the Group's urea products was about RMB 2213 per tonne, which was about 13.8 per cent lower than that of about RMB2566 per tonne in the same period in 2022.
