According to the announcement, the loss attributable to the owners of the company is HK $82 million (2022: HK $22 million profit). The net premium rate is negative 28% (2022: positive 7%). In the same period in 2022, after deducting an one-time gain of HK $174 million on the sale of assets held for sale, the loss attributable to the owner of the company was HK $152 million. The decrease in loss was mainly due to an improvement in gross profit margin during the period; no impairment of right-to-use assets and property, plant and equipment; and effective cost control of expenses.
