According to the Zhitong Finance App, Vanke Enterprise (02202) announced that in order to meet the development needs of the residential project in Xianheli, Shatin, Hong Kong, the company's shareholding company Champion Estate (HK) Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “project company”) applied for bank loans totaling HK$744.55 million from financial institutions (hereinafter referred to as the “lender”). Vanke Overseas, the company's holding subsidiary, bears general guarantee responsibility to the lender for the principal and interest of the project company according to its indirect holding ratio of 50% of the shares, and the partner also bears general guarantee responsibility to the lender for the principal and interest of the loan according to its shareholding ratio.
As of July 31, 2023, the company's guarantee balance was RMB 30.220 billion, accounting for 12.45% of the company's audited net assets attributable to shareholders of listed companies at the end of 2022. Among them, the company and holding subsidiaries provided a guarantee balance of RMB 30.194 million to other holding subsidiaries, and the company and holding subsidiaries provided a guarantee balance of RMB 026 million to joint ventures and joint ventures. The Company and its holding subsidiaries have no external guarantees. The company also has no overdue guarantees or guarantees involving litigation.
After this guarantee is issued, the total amount of the company's external guarantees will be 30.563 billion yuan, accounting for 12.59% of the company's net assets audited to shareholders of listed companies at the end of 2022.
