Kiss Food (01583) announced its results for the six months ended June 30, recording a profit attributable to shareholders of 26.159 million yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 4.7 times, or a basic profit of 0.035 yuan per share. No interim dividend.
During the period, revenue was 569 million yuan, up 7% from the same period last year; gross profit was 166 million yuan, up 15.6% from the same period last year; and gross profit margin was 29.2%, up 2.2% from the same period last year.
According to the announcement, the sales of jelly products during the period were about 382 million yuan, up about 7.2% from the same period last year, accounting for 67.1% of the group's overall income; sales of extruded products were about 126 million yuan, up 4.1% from the same period last year; and sales of seasoning products were about 41.5 million yuan, up about 8.6% from the same period last year.
