The Zhitong Finance App learned that Narnia Group (08607) rose more than 15%. As of press release, it rose 9.09% to HK$0.14, with a turnover of HK$2.8 million.

According to the news, the company announced that it will hold a board meeting on August 14 (Monday) to review and approve the Group's unaudited interim results and proposed payment of interim dividends (if any) for the six months ended June 30, 2023, and handle any other matters. The company's first-quarter results showed earnings of 42.085 million yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 45.67%; shareholders should account for losses of 5.745 million yuan, turning profit into loss over the previous year.

Cinda Securities pointed out that it is necessary to continue to pay attention to the downstream demand and inventory performance of garment companies. After the epidemic prevention policy was adjusted, the stock prices of Hong Kong-stock high-quality clothing companies were the first to rebound, short-term valuations were the first to recover, and focus on the fundamental inflection point in 2023. It is proposed to grasp two main lines: the clothing sector. On the one hand, the garment industry has strong refined operation capabilities, a high proportion of direct sales channels, and strong management capabilities of high-quality companies with flexible supply chains; on the other hand, benefiting from the continuation of high prosperity and the rise of national trends, the sports footwear segment is expected to take the lead in resuming performance growth.
