According to the Zhitong Finance App, Baiyue Group (08545) announced results for the three months ended June 30, 2023, with earnings of HK$52.372 million, an increase of about 21.4% over the previous year; net profit of HK$529,000, a net loss of HK$713,000 for the same period last year; and profit of HK$0.04 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to the distribution of imported toys and related products during the period; sales of ODM toys to concessionaires; and a significant increase in revenue contributed by the new division.
