According to the Zhitong Finance App, Guomao Holdings (08428) announced results for the three months ended June 30, 2023, with earnings of HK$7.694 million, an increase of 30.9%; shareholders' losses of HK$4.136 million, a year-on-year decrease of 20.4%; a basic loss of HK$0.14 per share.
Revenue from food services increased by around HK$1.7 million to HK$6.3 million during the period. The increase in revenue was mainly due to the increase in revenue contributed by San Po Kong Restaurant, which opened in September 2022, and was partially offset by the suspension of operations of the food service business in December 2022 without generating revenue.
