01008.HK announced that the company expects to record a loss of approximately HK $46.2 million to HK $56.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2023, compared with a profit of about HK $16.6 million for the same period in 2022.
The loss attributable to the owners of the company is mainly due to: (I) a decrease of approximately HK $22.5 million in the performance of an associate; (ii) a recognised impairment loss on equity of an associate of approximately HK $20.0 million; and (iii) a recognised goodwill impairment loss of approximately HK $48.2 million.
